From Farm Fields to the C-suite: Building Our Power

In the last several years, women from around the world and from every sector have joined forces to fearlessly challenge the status quo.

At TIME’S UP, we are continually inspired by this historic moment. Women are stepping up to organize and lead — marching, voting, volunteering, and running for office. After the 2018 election, we saw a record number of women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ individuals head to Congress. And in 2019, we’ve seen the largest number of women ever to run for president.

TIME’S UP is committed to continuing this progress and increasing the representation of women in positions of leadership. Since our founding, we’ve recognized that sexual misconduct is both a product and a cause of women’s lack of power.

Lack of power undermines women in every field, from farming to tech, and at every stage of their careers, from entry level jobs to leadership positions in the C-suite. The economy as a whole suffers as a result of the enormous lost potential of women who are effectively or literally chased out of jobs or whose careers stall before they rise through the ranks to positions of power.

We must not only increase the number of women in the highest positions of leadership, but also remove all of the barriers that prevent women from reaching their full potential. We must create a society that values the experiences of women, no matter what job they do. TIME’S UP is doing this on three fronts: public policy, corporate practice, and culture.

When we come together, we’re unstoppable. Help us rebuild the systems that have taken away women’s power for far too long. Add your name below to join TIME’S UP.
