TIME’S UP 2020 Annual Report

A Letter from Tina

Dear TIME’S UP Community:

I’m delighted to share TIME’S UP’s 2020 Annual Report — our first ever! — that tells the story of how we advanced that tells the story of how we advanced safety, equity, and power for women at work during a year of grave challenges.

We know that barriers to equity and wellbeing for women, particularly BIPOC women and women in underpaid jobs, intensified in 2020. But as Rebecca Solnit writes in Hope in the Dark: Untold Histories, Wild Possibilities, “Inside the word ‘emergency’ is ‘emerge’; from an emergency, new things come forth. The old certainties are crumbling fast, but danger and possibility are sisters.”

As we emerge from the crisis, we are redoubling our efforts to address systemic injustices in the public and private sectors that have existed for far too long. We must commit to a new paradigm for women at work.

We are energized for all that is ahead, and for what we can accomplish — together. Thank you for being with us on this journey.

All the best,
